Mutual Weirdness

You know when you hear a quotation and it just resonates? Well, I found one of those today…

"Hey hon, let's take pics of our various expressions. Do 'afraid'." ... (Chris does the terrified face, and Beth appears to be in pain)... What did we learn from this? We are ridiculously cool. It's no wonder our friends are cool like us. (Photo circa 2007).

“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”

* This quotation can also be perfectly applied to a number of couples I know. Not naming any names… but you know it’s true 🙂

    Hey I am normal! 🙂

Is it not better to be ‘wonderfully weird’ than ‘deadly dull’? Beth, you married into ‘weirdness’ and have done exceptionally well bringing your weirdness into the Ricci family. Actually, you were the one who was so successful in bringing out the weirdness in Chris! Well done. Now, we are facing a potential addition of ‘double’ weirdness to the mix….that of Chris VanVliet.
John and I love reading your blog and even when you think you are rambling on, you’re not. You are a very entertaining writer. Keep it up, sweetie pie.
    love jan
p.s. Jason…the very fact that you and Katrina are best friends with Chris and Beth make you superbly weird. Welcome to the club.

    Speak for yourself.
Oh, who am I kidding…we’re probably the weirdest of the bunch.
